How to Play

In Snake.io, you begin as a small snake in a large arena filled with glowing pellets. Move around, consuming pellets to grow longer and stronger. You can also trap or collide with other snakes to make them burst, leaving behind pellets for you to collect. But be careful—if you hit another snake’s body or your own, you’ll die and turn into pellets. As you grow, your movement becomes more challenging, but your ability to dominate increases. The goal is to outlast others and climb the leaderboard.

Boost the speed: Hold the left mouse button/spacebar

Tips and Tricks

Stay near the pack when small: being around others gives you more opportunities to eat pellets from their remains.
Coiling strategy: once you grow large, encircle other snakes to trap them.
Use speed boost wisely: only boost when an escape or offensive move is needed, because it drains length
Avoid risky collisions: watch paths and avoid head-on crashes, especially with larger snakes around
